Alaska Approves Your Training Place Online's Bloodborne Pathogens Course

The State of Alaska has placed a Your Training Place Online course on its list of “Approved Online Blood Borne Pathogen Courses” for body art professionals who do tattooing, permanent cosmetic coloring, and body piercing.

The State of Alaska Board of Barbers and Hairdressers has designated this course as a state approved online blood borne pathogen course for tattoo artists, permanent cosmetic coloring technicians, and body piercers. This course also complies with the initial and annual training requirements of OSHA’s Bloodborne Pathogens Standards.

"Bloodborne Pathogens Training and Infection Control for Body Art Professionals” is a narrated course. It has five sections: OSHA; Pathogens and Communicable Diseases; Chain of Infection; Exposure Control and Infection Prevention Plans; and Compliance. After successful completion of this course, a Certificate of Completion can be immediately printed.
