Nexteer President & COO to Speak at Saginaw Future Annual Awards Luncheon
Saginaw Future Inc. (SFI) will be celebrating its Annual Awards Luncheon that will feature Laurent Bresson, president and COO for Nexteer Automotive. He will give a presentation on Nexteer’s turnaround and its commitment to community.
Saginaw, MI, February 08, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Saginaw Future Inc. (SFI) will be celebrating its Annual Awards Luncheon that will feature Laurent Bresson, president and COO for Nexteer Automotive.
He will give a presentation on Nexteer’s turnaround and its commitment to community.
Bresson was senior vice president and chief operating officer, responsible for managing day-to-day global activities of the company’s divisional and product groups, including global sales. Prior to that assignment, he was vice president, global sales and marketing, and European region director, responsible for all activities in region.
Bresson has played a leading role in aggressively expanding Nexteer’s customer base to more than 50 automotive manufacturers around the world. In addition, Bresson has extensive international operational experience overseeing production facilities and the launch of numerous high volume, global customer programs. He has also held various positions in engineering, project management and sales throughout his career.
The Saginaw Future Annual Awards Luncheon will be held on Friday, February 15, 2013 at Horizons Conference Center, 6200 State St. Registration begins at 11:00 a.m. with a lunch and program to follow at 11:30 a.m. Tickets are available for $40.00 per person. Saginaw Future will be honoring 35 projects from 2012 valued at nearly $241 million that created and retained more than 1,100 jobs. "Driving the Future!" is this year’s theme, which refers to rejuvenated traditional industries and new technology being developed in Saginaw County and the Great Lakes Bay Region.
