Jennifer’s Celebrates 30 Year Anniversary
Fort Myers, FL, February 09, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Jennifer Williams recently celebrated the 30th anniversary of her Fort Myers boutique with a daylong trunk show and party. Shoppers registered to win the Pearl Prize package featuring gift certificates for beauty, hair and spa services, and merchandise from Jennifer’s and a special pearl necklace from Lisa Freede, one of Jennifer’s favorite jewelry designers. Long-time customer Janet Porter was the winner of the package.
“I have been shopping at Jennifer’s for nearly 20 years,” said Porter. “Jennifer’s carries interesting pieces you don’t see at other boutiques. The staff knows the customers and will even call me when something comes in that they think I will like.”
Williams began working in retail while she attended Fort Myers High School. In November of 1983, she opened Jennifer’s on McGregor Boulevard, in the same location it stands today. “I started small and selected quality merchandise,” says Williams. She attributes her success to staying current and true to her fashion sense. “Our theme has always been subtle, simple and sophisticated.”
Jennifer’s will continue to celebrate by giving back to local charities with “Fashion Forward Fridays” at the women’s boutique on the first Friday of the month through June. 5% of sales will benefit participating charities including Special Equestrians, Eden Autism Services, Abuse Counseling & Treatment, Island Coast AIDS Network, the Heights Foundation, Quality Life Center, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer (ACS) and The Salvation Army. Shoppers will also enjoy champagne, refreshments and giveaways.
