March 9 Model Camp Benefits Winfield Parks
Cameo Model Management hosts a one-day model and acting camp in Winfield, AL March 9. Portion of the proceeds go to the Winfield Parks and Rec Board. International Model and Talent Association Member teaches basics of runway, interviews, and commercial acting skills. Former students have won competitions and worked in commercial and fashion industry.
Winfield, AL, February 09, 2013 --(PR.com)-- From Alabama to LA, the skills needed to make it in the fashion and entertainment industry can be discovered right here at the one-day Modeling and Acting Camp in Winfield, Ala. Set for Sat., March 9th from 10 a.m.to 4 p.m. aspiring models and actors get to learn from a seasoned International Model and Talent Association (IMTA) member. Practice how to walk down the runway with pizzazz, sparkle in an interview and dazzle them on stage.
Previous students of the Cameo Model Management camp have gone on to win competitions at IMTA in LA. A 14 and 16-year-old client each received 20 or more callbacks. One accepted an acting scholarship and both were invited back for the Television Pilot Season casting.
Cameo’s modeling and acting camp is beneficial for ages 4 and up. The cost is $99. Location is at the Winfield Community Center, 400 Community Street, Winfield, AL 35594.
Cameo’s corporate philosophy is to improve the lives of young people. A portion of the proceeds from this camp are designated for the Winfield Park and Recreation board. Joan Hawkins, owner of Cameo Model Management since 1966, says, “It’s important for kids to be kids. That’s why I want to support the parks of Winfield with this camp.”
