Innovation Direct™ Inventor Opts to File Provisional Application For Patent on Sink, Bath and Basin Stopper Invention

Dailey on her Sink, Bath and Basin Stopper invention upon her request. The Sink, Bath and Basin Stopper is an innovative new product designed to effectively address a common household problem. In October 2012, Mrs. Dailey opted to contract Innovation Direct™ to represent the Sink, Bath and Basin Stopper to potential licensees for a 2 year period under the terms of the Product Management Services Agreement. The terms of the agreement also included Innovation Direct™ referring Mrs. Dailey to an independent patent law firm for the filing of a provisional application for a patent on the Sink, Bath and Basin Stopper. The application was officially filed on December 11, 2012 and is valid for the term of one year. Prior to its expiration, Mrs. Dailey will have to decide whether or not to opt to have the independent patent law firm convert the application to a non-provisional version.
