57th Conejo Valley Days Seeks Vendors, Business Expo Participants
Vendor applications are now available for the 57th annual Conejo Valley Days (CVD) being held May 2 through 5 at Conejo Creek Park South (Janss Rd./23 Freeway) in Thousand Oaks. Exhibitor applications are also being accepted for the Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce Business Expo taking place during CVD.
Thousand Oaks, CA, February 12, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Vendor applications are now available for the 57th annual Conejo Valley Days (CVD) being held May 2 through 5 at Conejo Creek Park South (Janss Rd./23 Freeway) in Thousand Oaks. Exhibitor applications are also being accepted for the Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce Business Expo taking place during CVD.
"Regular CVD vendors can sign up to exhibit for the entire four days of CVD. Vendor booths will be in two enclosed big top tents," says Mary-Catherine McBride, CVD general co-chair. "This is a great opportunity to reach a large number of local consumers. Half of those who attend CVD each year are adults."
The two-day chamber business expo will be held Saturday and Sunday, May 4 and 5 from noon to 6:00 p.m. in two enclosed tents at CVD. Booths are available for chamber members only. Twenty-five percent of the booth fee will be donated to the chamber. "This is a chamber fundraiser as well as an excellent way to tell the community about your product or service," says Jill Lederer, chamber president/CEO. "We're expecting the expo booths to sell out quickly."
As part of the business expo booth package, a company listing and link will be posted on the CVD website.
All vendors and expo exhibitors are asked to dress in western gear and decorate their booth in western décor in keeping with CVD's western roots.
"We're adding a western-style saloon to CVD that will feature dancers, singers and comedians," says McBride. "We're also adding more features to our western Main Street including a fundraising 'jail.' Carnival rides, motocross exhibitions, a dupstep stage and games will all be part of the exciting atmosphere. For the second year, Reeds Furniture will take over two large tents and fill them with furniture, accessories and CVD collectibles."
CVD hours are Thursday, May 2, 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Friday, May 3, 5:00 p.m. to midnight, Saturday, May 4, noon to midnight and Sunday, May 5, noon to 8:00 p.m.
