Theresa Roemer’s Valentine Truffles at Bar 12 in Saks Fifth Avenue – Proceeds to Benefit Child Legacy International

Houston, TX, February 11, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Theresa Roemer and Saks Fifth Avenue are very excited to announce the Valentine selection of her Signature Truffles at Bar 12, Saks Fifth Avenue, Houston Galleria. Bar 12, owned by 51Fifteen, is located on Level Three next to Men’s Shoes and Accessories. Alongside her TR truffles and her new basketball truffles for the fans in for the NBA All-Star game, the Valentine handmade truffles are made of the same cookie and cream center and topped in decadent chocolate. Proceeds from the truffles will benefit Child Legacy International, a Christian non-profit organization working in Africa to transform lives by providing opportunities that break the generational cycle of poverty and despair, and support each person’s pursuit of their God-given destiny.

Why did Theresa Roemer think of truffles to help raise funds for one of her favorite charities, Child Legacy International? “Because I believe that if you give people something they will love and put them in a happy mood, it makes them more receptive towards giving generously for a cause. The cause I support through this charity really pulls at my hearts strings. Having been to Malawi to fix water wells in the villages there, I have seen the poverty and misery up close. I feel compelled to do something that will help the people of the 2nd poorest country in the world. Through the sale of my signature truffles, I hope to make a healthy profit that I can donate to Child Legacy, but I also feel confident that some of the shoppers will be curious and want to know more about this charity.
