"Tango Lovers" (Enamorados Del Tango) and Mora Godoy Return to the US at the Best Broadway Style

Acclaimed as “The Best Tango Show in the city” by the press and media in Uruguay (“Ultimas Noticias,” March 2012), “A Tango Show at the highest level” (“Banda Oriental,” New York, September 2012) and qualifications such as “The Best Show ever,” Tango Lovers (Enamorados del Tango) will be back in April 2013 to New York and Miami and has expanded its tour to Palm Beach in Florida and San Francisco and Los Angeles in California.

Tango Lovers (Enamorados del Tango) is a Tango show of the highest caliber and strives for excellence in the fields of artistic creativity and performance. “Our shows create transcendent moments in the theater that illuminates the human experience. Tango Lovers blends stunning dresses exclusively designed by Mimi Pinzon in Argentina, lighting, music and introduces spectacular contemporary elements and classical tango dance in order to attract diverse generations while preserving the essence of Tango,” says Marcos Ayala the young artistic director and first dancer of the company.

Tango Lovers’ ensemble consists of 20 artists carefully selected from the best. All Tango Lovers’ (Enamorados del Tango) dancers have been formed in classical ballet and contemporary dance allowing them to mix classical, contemporary and acrobatic elements for a unique ensemble. Despite their young ages, all dancers have World Tango Championships and rich international career paths touring around the world.

Tango Lovers will tour with the participation of an extraordinary dancer, the Queen of Tango, Mora Godoy.

A mix of the finest Uruguayan and Argentinean musicians and dancers and the ensemble’s Uruguayan director and first soloist, Alfredo Lerida guarantees to ignite the stages where Tango Lovers perform.
