The Best in Philly Hip Hop - Poesh Wonder Releases Debut Solo Album "Like This"
Philadelphia, PA, August 01, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Respect The Culture, LLC, a Philadelphia-based record label and multi-media company announces the release of Poesh Wonder’s debut solo album, “Like This.”
Poesh Wonder has performed regularly on the Philadelphia hip hop scene for over five years and has appeared on several albums nationally and internationally, but "Like This" marks his first solo release.
"It is Poesh Wonder's time," said the album’s producer Nex Millen/Retrospective. “After years of writing and performing music, Poesh finally gets to share his own music with the world.”
Lyrical and clever with the street smarts from Camden to back it up, this album features Poesh's hard hitting rhymes with guest appearances by Fat Nice from 84 and Nex Millen. Contributing beats to the album are Nex Millen, Fel Sweetenburg, Blak The Ninth Man, legendary Spanish producer Griffi and hip hop phenoms Quiroga and El Chavo, also from Spain.
“From the eclectic groove of the hit single ‘Like This’ to Philly party hit, ‘Scorpio Theme’ to the new sounds of ‘Check This Sound,’ and ‘Friday Nite,’ this album is already a favorite among those who know the real Philly hip hop,” said Respect The Culture’s Marci Krufka. “And it’s just a taste before the release of Poesh’s album ‘No You Haven't and You Never Will Again (The Motion Picture),’ featuring all new hits on November 7, 2007.”
Poesh Wonder is a New Jersey-born hip hop artist. Poesh Wonder has appeared on numerous recordings including “Breakbread Radio,” “Balance is Back,” and “Almost Famous.” His work has resulted in worldwide acclaim, resulting in his being featured on “Historias De Q,” the latest CD of Spanish hip hop phenom Quiroga and starring with Quiroga in the video for “Wah/Fuego en tu Interior.”
