Presentation synopsis:
How often is Impact Level 3 (IL3) data downgraded to Impact Level 2 (IL2) solely due to the fact that information must be shared with third parties outside Government accredited networks?
In reality without an IL3 accredited product or service offering, UK Government bodies have no choice but to continue to place Restricted information at risk when sending information by email or transferring files electronically across untrusted networks.
Using real world technical examples this presentation will demonstrate how by utilising the new G-Cloud initiative, Government bodies can implement comprehensive information security solutions up to IL3 that aren’t prohibitively expensive or complex.
On leaving this session, delegates will have gained an in-depth understanding of how they can utilise existing cloud systems and technologies to implement a cost effective and scalable information security solution and will have acquired the key points they need to build a relevant internal business case.
