Mellon Poland Among the Best Business Services Companies in Poland
Mellon Poland is among the finalists announced for the first “Poland Outsourcing and Shared Services Awards.” The firm has been nominated under the “Best BPO Firm of the Year” category.
Warsaw, Poland, February 15, 2013 --(PR.com)-- For the first time in Poland an international jury of 21 outsourcing industry experts have evaluated 125 competing firms, cities and people. The event’s purpose was to present the latest investments in the business services sector and shared services centres. Operating in the Polish market since 2006, Mellon Poland has been nominated for its contribution to the Polish business services sector in 2012, in one of the most important categories of the awards, “Best BPO Firm of the Year.”
“Being nominated in this major category by experts from Europe, Northern America and Asia is a tremendous distinction,” said Gregoris Kotoulas, CEO of Mellon Poland. “Competing with long-established companies like Accenture, Capgemini, Citi Service Center, IBM Global Services Delivery Center and Alexander Mann, the winner in this category, confirms our strong position in the Polish outsourcing services industry.”
The awards have been supported by four Chambers of Commerce –British, Canadian, Scandinavian and American, as well as foreign industry partners such as World BPO from USA, Outsourcing Verband from Germany, British Professional Outsourcing and French European Outsourcing Association.
Mellon Poland, a key provider of outsourced services to financial institutions, has noted very good results in the previous year. The company sold on behalf of its clients, products and services worth over 2.4 million euro per month. This translates into a 40% increase compared to 2011. Mellon Poland has also acquired for its clients approximately one thousand new customers per month (an increase of 30%).
