Airhart Starts Construction of Third Phase at Courthouse Square Homes in Wheaton
Wheaton, IL, February 15, 2013 --(PR.com)-- With the first two phases sold out, Airhart Construction has announced that construction is underway on its third phase of homes at Courthouse Square in downtown Wheaton.
“We are selling and building; the demand is certainly there. Two homes are already sold in phase III, and we are preparing contracts on two more and a deposit on a fifth,” said Court Airhart, president of Airhart Construction. “We look forward to delivering new homes in October.”
“Our buyers are excited about living downtown, they like the activity and want to be close and live a more walk-able lifestyle,” noted Heather Mistele Sales Manager for Airhart Construction. For Courthouse Square residents, the Metra train station in downtown Wheaton is a four-block walk from home. Homeowners also enjoy the many entertainment and dining options in downtown Wheaton. A new Mariano’s Fresh market will be opening this year located three blocks from Courthouse Square. Residents also have access to the Community Center that offers a fitness center, an outdoor pool and available party room.
The homes at Courthouse Square feature a total of seven new designs. They range in size from two to five bedrooms and two-and one-half to four-and one-half baths, from 2,000 to over 3,200 square feet of living space with base prices ranging from $469,800 to $659,000.
Interior highlights include nine-foot ceilings on all levels, hardwood flooring, milled staircases, second floor laundry, first floor Great Room with fireplace, kitchens featuring custom cabinetry, granite countertops and stainless steel appliances.
Exteriors are all brick with limestone detailing; the driveways, walkways and private patios are also brick, the landscaping is extensive and three-car tandem garages are available. But there’s one optional feature that has proven popular with every homeowner thus far at Courthouse Square.
“Our rooftop terraces are versatile and to date, every homeowner has chosen this option,” said Heather Mistele, sales manager at Courthouse Square. “The rooftop terraces are spacious and average 165 square feet in size. Buyers can opt for a guest suite or the space can be customized into an area for entertaining complete with a wet bar. Each homeowner has created something unique with this space and has commented that they are enjoying and using the space much more than they thought they would.”
Rooftop terraces are not the only feature that homeowners at Courthouse Square customize. According to Mistele, every home sold has had extensive personalized customization. “Buyers have customized their homes in a variety of ways, from a private elevator that can be installed now or planned for future use, bay windows, custom trim work and cabinetry, to walk-in showers. One relocated their kitchen by moving it to the center from the back of their home,” she said.
Hours at Courthouse Square are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays, noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, or by appointment. To visit and tour the furnished model take I-88 west to Naperville Road, head north to Liberty Street, and proceed to The Blanchard model/sales office at 309 E. Liberty St. (located a few blocks north of Roosevelt Road/Rt. 38). For more information, call (630) 462-0500 or visit www.airhartconstruction.com.
