Seybert to Facilitate Executive Management Forum at Agsafe Conference
Top managers from California's agriculture companies are gathering February 27 in Monterey (CA) for an Executive Forum where they will hear about and discuss technology trends that are affecting their industry. Arroyo Grande (CA) business consultant Jim Seybert has been asked–for the second year–to facilitate this critical meeting.
Modesto, CA, February 16, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Arroyo Grande-based business consultant Jim Seybert has been chosen to facilitate an invitation-only Executive Management Forum at the 2013 AgSafe Conference in Monterey. The EMF is an all-day event where top leaders in California agriculture gather to analyze and discuss the evolving state of technology, and its applicability to challenges impacting the industry. This will be Seybert’s second time facilitating the EMF.
AgSafe President and CEO, Amy Wolfe, says Seybert was chosen for the second year in a row because of his ability to “weave a thread of relevant commonality between our group of diverse attendees.” Guests at the Forum represent every segment of California’s agriculture industry and Seybert adds to the value of their experience by encouraging dialog and suggesting avenues of collaboration, says Wolfe. “One important element in a successful Forum is a skilled facilitator, and Jim has some unique natural abilities in this area,” she adds.
Seybert lists the AgSafe Conference among his favorite assignments because of the organization’s “history of bringing in excellent presenters.” The line-up for this year’s Executive Management Forum includes Robert Stevens, creator of the highly-successful Geek Squad concept at Best Buy. American agriculture has successfully adopted technology on the production side, says Seybert, “and part of my role this year will be to help these leaders brainstorm ways to use technology on the administrative side, as well.”
The 2013 AgSafe Conference will be held February 26 through March 1 at the Hyatt Regency Monterey. For information: visit AgSafe at http://agsafe.org. Jim Seybert is a member of the San Luis Obispo Chamber of Commerce and the Arroyo Grande Grover Beach Chamber of Commerce. He can be reached at info@jimseybert.
