DDA Custom Designed a Golf Course Fitting System for P3 Designs and for Golf Players Across the Country
Using custom programming, illustration, and animation, DDA developed a golf course selection tool that allows users to search golf courses that fit their swing and that fit the client’s specifications to a tee.

The idea for this interactive golf course selection tool was brought to DDA with a clear focus in mind: “You design it. We find it.” Users are able to “design” their perfect course by manipulating golf course feature sliders in six different categories, including style, layout, sand, water, length, and difficulty. Once users move a slider, the course image dynamically changes to illustrate the course being searched. Once all features are chosen, users can search for courses that best fit their selections. Courses can also be narrowed down by location, price, and course name. The search results provide the user with contact information for each matching course, and once a course is chosen, this tool also allows users to book a tee time.
DDA developed the Golf Course Fitting System for P3 Designs. They had a vision for what each course would look like, and DDA delivered with custom animated illustrations of deserts, links, mountains, heathlands, and parklands, all with varying degrees of water and sand features, layouts, and difficulty. The client provided a list of golf courses that made up the search results database. DDA programmed this database with the Tee-to-Green personality scores calculated by P3 Designs so that when users entered their course specifications, a corresponding course would be provided.
Once the Golf Course Fitting System was launched, DDA assisted P3 Designs with converting the tool into an app for Facebook. After setting up the company’s Facebook page, DDA integrated the Fitting System to allow P3 to share their tool and create more interactivity. Since the Facebook app was launched, the Fitting System has been gaining in popularity.
