Guardian Watch™ to be Part of the Next Wave of Great Companies at Startup America’s Kickoff of Startup Georgia
Atlanta, GA, February 20, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Guardian Watch™ will be among the more than 100 Georgia companies invited to the first Startup Georgia, Startup Rally on February 18, 2013. The event, tagged as the “Largest Gathering of Startups in Georgia Since 1895” and billed as one part startup exposition, one part summer internship fair, and one part launch of Startup Georgia – a startup-led, statewide initiative to raise the profile of Georgia startups as part of the national network Startup America Partnership.
Dr. Gordon Jones, Guardian Watch™ founder & CEO, will be speaking to the attendees about the trials and tribulations of starting up a company, especially a tech-based company, in Augusta, GA outside the epicenter of the Atlanta Tech community. “I am excited and proud to have the opportunity to be among such a cool group of innovative, emerging companies and relaying my experiences as a tech startup,” stated Dr. Jones.
Guardian Watch™ (GW) is the developer of the first cloud-based mobile platform that connects citizens directly to public safety officials and emergency response teams to better prepare and respond to incidents.
