New University-Model School® in North Austin Makes Hiring Announcement
Trinity Preparatory Academy is now hiring highly qualified fine arts and grade level teaching faculty.
Round Rock, TX, February 20, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Trinity Preparatory Academy (www.trinityprepacademy.com) is a new classical Christian University-Model School opening in fall 2013 in North Austin. The school provides faculty with a unique teaching experience. At Trinity Preparatory Academy, students are engaged in a 5-day per week, rigorous classical curriculum. In the Grammar School (K-5), students attend the Trinity Preparatory Academy campus two days per week to learn from professional teachers. The remaining three days of curriculum are delivered in the satellite classroom at home with a parent teacher. All curriculum is provided by the school. Teachers provide weekly lesson plans to parents online.
Candidates who are best suited for the position are certified in their area of instruction. They also have extraordinary teaching ability, are familiar with classical teaching methods, are willing to learn new methods, and are called to serve children and their families.
Dr. Elizabeth Swanson, Head of School says, “Parents are looking for a school that allows them increased involvement in their child’s education and provides time to teach values important to the family. Trinity Preparatory Academy (www.trinityprepacademy.com) makes this possible because of its adherence to the University Model®. At the same time, this calls for a teacher with special skills to facilitate the unique teacher-parent relationship.”
In addition to kindergarten through fourth grade teachers, Trinity Preparatory Academy will hire music and art teachers who are gifted both in their field of study and have an ability to inspire young children to create their own works of art. The fine arts will be featured at several evening events. Fine arts faculty will be given the opportunity to plan and lead these special events.
Applicants should visit the website (www.trinityprepacademy.com) to view the qualifications and job description. Interviews are being scheduled on a rolling basis to meet registration needs.
Trinity Preparatory Academy will open in Fall 2013 to serve students in kindergarten through fourth grade. Long-term plans include adding a School of Logic (grades 6-8) and School of Rhetoric (grades 9-12). Parent information meetings are held monthly.
