CPI Governance Opens CPI Asia
Leading Dutch risk management, finance and governance consulting firm follows global clients to Asia
Singapore, Singapore, February 20, 2013 --(PR.com)-- After nine years of successful growth in the Netherlands, CPI Governance (CPI), a consulting firm specialising in risk management, finance and governance, is pleased to announce its expansion into Asia with a new branch office in Singapore.
Asia’s fast-paced market growth, coupled with increased regulatory scrutiny, has resulted in increased demand for implementation of profound risk management, finance and governance processes. Organisations in Asia are seeking the same third-party assistance in these critical areas as their Western counterparts; however, expertise in the region remains insufficient. CPI, with its successful track record in Europe and extensive resources, is well equipped to assist corporations and financial institutions alike in Asia in fulfilling their needs for additional related capacity and knowledge transfer.
Founded in 2004, CPI currently employs 11 partners, 50 professionals and 300 associates. The company has served, and continues to serve, a large number of blue-chip companies in the corporate and financial sectors – including KPN (the largest Dutch telecom company), Aegon (financial services), Fortune 500 companies such as Henry Schein (medical, dental and veterinary supplies distributor) and Hewitt Associates (HR consulting and BPO), as well as private-equity owned companies like Maxeda (retail).
“Our clients are very happy that we have followed them to Asia. They have not been able to find suitable alternatives to the global consulting firms and are in great need of experienced finance and risk professionals,” said Simone Heidema, Managing Partner, CPI Governance. “CPI Asia will provide them with hands-on, proficient professionals, quality counsel, for lower fees.”
Over the past nine years, CPI has become a trusted advisor and partner for its clients and has developed a thought-leadership position perceived to be a critical challenger to the larger service organisations – such as the Big Four.
“The focus of CPI is to offer clients only seasoned professionals with relevant track records. CPI consultants are carefully selected and highly qualified specialists with over 10-15 years’ relevant work experience in both consulting and line management. They all hold university degrees, with many also having pursued post-graduate education. Our top-notch expertise, combined with charge-out rates 30 per cent below the Big Four, makes CPI a very compelling partner,” said Inge van Zon, Managing Partner, CPI Asia.
“This is a strategic fit in Asia as our clients indicate that they find it relatively easy to attract talented graduates from university; however, they have difficulty in hiring and maintaining experienced staff,” continued van Zon. “CPI Asia assists its clients in solving their temporary shortage of finance and risk professionals, and works on projects and strategic assignments with them.”
