Northern Virginia Tutoring Service, LLC Announces the Formation of a Professional Partnership with netWORKshops LLC

Falls Church, VA, February 21, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Dr. Ralph G. Perrino, Founder and Director of Northern Virginia Tutoring Service, LLC, is pleased to announce the formation of a professional partnership with netWORKshops LLC.

netWORKshops provides comprehensive group workshops for college students entering the job market; it leverages interpersonal connections and shared resources to ensure every participant stays motivated to find the “right job!” This is achieved by integrating team dynamics that promote support, feedback, accountability and follow-up in a fun and interactive environment.

The curriculum includes a self-assessment, resume and cover letter enhancement, interview preparation, research/social media, networking and more. Participants develop detailed Action Plans, Networking and Tracking Tools including correspondence templates to improve efficiency and guarantee they “hit the ground running.”

Individual coaching is also available.

netWORKshops was formed in 2012 by Joan M. Sherman, a job-search and networking coach based in Washington, DC. Ms. Sherman’s career spans 25+ years in the private business sector and consulting to Federal government agencies where she held a variety of leadership, sales and relationship management positions.

Dr. Perrino established Northern Virginia Tutoring Service, LLC in 1995 after a long career in the public and private sectors. Dr. Perrino is currently an Associate Professor at Northern Virginia Community College where he has taught sociology, political science, and business management since 1984. The author of many professional publications, Dr. Perrino has prepared numerous position papers, management studies, and critical analyses of current issues in education. He has extensive experience working with parents, students, and school officials to resolve difficult problems associated with academic achievement.
