CAI Announces Winners of 2013 Ovation Awards for HR Excellence
Local HR Management Firm Honors Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina, Eisai, and WingSwept as Award Winners
Raleigh, NC, February 23, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Bruce Clarke, president and CEO of CAI (http://www.capital.org), a human resource management firm that helps organizations maximize employee engagement while minimizing employer liability, announced the winners of its 2013 Ovation Awards for HR Excellence, which honors exceptional workplaces that have implemented human resources and people practices that have positively impacted business results. Awards are given in three categories: small (less than 250 employees), midsize (between 250-500 employees) and large (more than 500 employees) companies. The respective small, midsize and large winners include WingSwept, an IT consulting company that specializes in best-practice technology solutions; Eisai, a global pharmaceutical company working to address unmet medical needs; and Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina, which delivers health care products, services, and information to customers across the state of North Carolina.
CAI will honor each organization during its annual HR Management Conference on Wednesday, March 6 and Thursday, March 7 at the McKimmon Center for Extension and Continuing Education, located at 1101 Gorman St. The 2013 HR Management Conference, “The Talent Puzzle: Putting the Pieces Together,” will highlight tactics to engage employees and help executives, HR directors and managers improve their workforce’s overall performance. Additionally, the conference will uncover ways to attract the best and brightest employees, assist coworkers in overcoming life and work obstacles, and prepare organizations for upcoming demographic shifts.
Quotes:
“For companies to be successful, they must truly understand and address the needs of their people, and this year’s Ovation Award winners have done just that,” said Clarke. “Each implemented major internal changes to dramatically enhance positive people practices that have not only benefited their own organizations by improving employee morale and satisfaction, but improved each business’ bottom line as well. We look forward to honoring these organizations at our 2013 HR Management Conference, and are eager for conference attendees to be given the opportunity to learn more about the power of effective people practices.”
