IFP FILMS Finalizes TV Documentary Funding Locally
Announcing the funding completion for their Entrepreneur-based TV documentary/reality series starting to shoot around StartUp Weekend-Saratoga. This initiative is the next step in IFP Films’ return to original programming as announced last Fall.
Saratoga Springs, NY, February 28, 2013 --(PR.com)-- IFP Films a leading studio for independent and branded media creation for over 20 years today has announced the funding completion for their Entrepreneur-based TV documentary starting to shoot around StartUp Weekend-Saratoga. This initiative is the next step in IFP Films’ return to original programming as announced last Fall.
Founder and Creative Director, Bob Manasier states: “Capital Region Entrepreneurs Group and Diamond Point Advisory Group really stepped up to source and close the co-development funds that we needed to make this a reality. They are the missing piece to this local initiative of bringing media projects to the area. We can’t wait to capture all the excitement, passion, ideas and drama that will be part of this event. The amount of interesting storylines will lead to many threads (meaning products) for our multi-purposing models.”
Keegan Hayes of Capital Region Entrepreneur Group says: “With the history and proven business model of IFP Films, the outreach for funding was the key. Our services’ provide the solution that was needed to bring this project to the event this weekend. We expect to be involved in many more projects with them.”
David Fragomeni, a Managing Partner in Diamond Point Advisory Group states: “Our goal as a sponsor, coach and organizer for the Saratoga Event was to bring real attention and real results to the area. This production will help build awareness and reach beyond the event weekend and will be used to sustain the local efforts.”
The expected programs which will be produced throughout the region over the next few weeks will include a documentary, reality series pilot and a media library for educational resource distribution.
IFP Films is a full-service media studio creating independent programs for TV, film and direct consumption going back to its beginnings in the indie film movement of the ’90s. With over 72 international program excellence awards, a cohesive production team that has been together for over 15 years and a cross-trained crew unit, the company has begun in-house development of a number of projects. The next project will be announced after the weekend event at TEC-SMART.
