Wilson, NC, February 28, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Butterfly is pleased to announce sponsorship of the DCH Cup 8th Garden State Open Table Tennis Championships, scheduled for May 4th & 5th at the St Mary's Memorial Gymnasium, 19 Cherry Tree Farm Road, Middletown, New Jersey.

The DCH Cup 8th Garden State Open is a 4-star table tennis tournament sanctioned by the USA Table Tennis Association with $6,000 in prize money and awards. Tournament directors include Lily Yip, Judy Hugh, Henry Pekarsky and Zachary Weingarten.

Events in the $6,000 cash awards tournament include Open, Under 2500, Under 2300, Under 2100, Under 1900, Under 1500, Under 1100, High School Teams, 6000 Teams, Over 70, Over 55, Over 40, Under 18, Under 15, Under 11, Under 2000, Under 1600, Under 1200 and Under 800. All events will play in a round robin group with the best player in the group advancing to a single elimination draw. All matches are best 3 out of 5, 11 point games. The team events will be made up of 3 to 5 players, of which only three will play per team tie and play best of five matches.

Butterfly is official equipment of the DHC Cup 8th Garden State Open. Butterfly will supply ITTF approved Butterfly tables and net sets, ITTF approved Butterfly 3-Star balls, barriers, umpire tables and towel boxes.
