Friendship Sorority Featured on the Profiles Series
Beta Sigma Phi is fondly known as the “friendship organization.” Now with about 165,000 members, the sorority continues to grow and work actively in the community.

A non-academic sorority that has been in existence since 1931, Beta Sigma Phi is fondly known as the “friendship organization.” Now with about 165,000 members, the sorority continues to grow and work actively in the community.
Beta Sigma Phi annually raises approximately $3,000,000 for local charities. The program, hosted by Lou Gossett Jr., features stories on various community based organizations. “As producer, it was great working on a project where the people involved value friendship so much,” said Wali Waiters Executive Producer.
