Folsom, CA, August 05, 2007 --(PR.com)-- ea consulting, Inc. PWSA has chosen the latest version of SAP (MySAP ERP ECC 6), which involves the upgrade of the full suite of modules in use presently for their Financial, Supply Chain, Work Orders, Asset Management, Utility Billing and Customer Services operational needs. These include Pre Upgrade Review, Functional Gap Analysis and Resolution, Blueprint Revision, System and Infrastructure Upgrade, Testing, Documentation, and Training.
PWSA wanted to take advantage of the new system architecture and functionality and establish a foundation to build many of the technological enhancements they have slated for the future. The SAP ERP ECC6.0 upgrades combines the powerful industry-specific functionality such as efficiently handling meter-reading data with customer care and service capabilities, the ability to increase levels of responsiveness and customer satisfaction among water utility customers.
PWSA has been a valued client of ea since 2002. ea has implemented the first SAP ERP and CIS integrated solutions for PWSA through the deployment of ea’s UtilityWorks. PWSA was one of the first in the industry to use UtilityWorks solution, an SAP Template implementation strategy which is becoming more popular now with mid-tier utility companies. It helps PWSA to accelerate the system installation process with minimal risk. ea continues to be the Application Service Provider (ASP) for PWSA. ea also hosts PWSA’s integrated system by providing hardware, system administration, 24-hour customer care and data center services that include functional and technical support. This solution has successfully provided PWSA with a simple and cost-effective alternative to manage PWSA’s back-office system.
“We are extremely appreciative and proud to be trusted again by PWSA for this important upgrade. We have forged a strong relationship with the organization, and believe that we have solid understanding of PWSA’s culture, its operations, as well as their business challenges and needs.” said Kirk Kuzirian, General Manager, ea.
ea has proven track records of successes, highly skilled consultants and support team, aggressive approach, full commitment and reputation for on-time delivery. In addition, ea, as a CMMI® Level-5 certified company reiterates their promise to deliver "first-world services at third world prices". ea integrates the CMMI® Level-5 and ISO 9001:2000 industry standard process framework into every aspect of their work, including business development, software and hardware implementation, and a variety of managed and support services. With tools and skills like these, ea will be able to help PWSA manages their operations and customer care capabilities more effectively. It allows PWSA to stay more focus on strategic business objectives such as Excellent Customer Service, Cost Management, Security and Environmental Compliance, and to meet the challenges of deregulation head-on.
