"Discover My Cleveland" Plans It All for Groups
Greater Cleveland’s newest destination management company, Discover My Cleveland (DMC), opens for business.
Cleveland, OH, March 05, 2013 --(PR.com)-- “Make the call, we’ll plan it all” is the motto of Greater Cleveland’s newest destination management company, Discover My Cleveland (DMC).
Lynde Vespoli, the firm’s director of destination management, said “from arrival to departure, logistics are our specialty.”
DMC will plan and manage every detail during an organization’s visit to the area, from concept to completion. This includes everything from meeting attendees at the airport to lodging, transportation, special events and tours.
Ms. Vespoli went on to say, “As the local planners on the ground, we know the best Northeast Ohio has to offer. We create unique group experiences by putting this considerable knowledge to work for them.”
She will be using her expertise next summer as the exclusive manager of all tours and excursions during the 2013 National Senior Games’ visit to Greater Cleveland.
The Greater Cleveland Sports Commission, managing partner for the Games, expects up to 13,000 athletes to attend. They will compete in 19 sports.
Accompanying them will be as many as 23,000 family members and friends going on 14 excursions along with athletes on days off from their sport.
DMC leads tours ranging from cultural and city landmarks to Lake Erie cruises, winery tours and visits to Amish country.
