About Martin Alder

Martin Alder is the Managing Director of Optimum Energy Ltd., a small trade/development company. Mr. Alder has a M.Sc. in Railway Engineering from the University of Liverpool and a DMS in Business from the University of West End England. Prior to joining Optimum Energy Ltd., Mr. Alder was the Director of the Association of Electrical Producers from 1987 to 2010. Mr. Alder’s field of expertise is in renewable energy, sustainability, strategic planning and feasibility studies. He is a Chartered Environmental Manager of the Institute of Water and Environmental Management and a member of the Carbon Catalysts Group, the CleanTech and Renewable Energy Finance Forum and the Energy & Utilities Network. In his free time, Mr. Alder enjoys golf, ornithology and Liverpool football.
