Bemidji, MN, March 06, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Pinnacle Publishing, LLC (DBA: Pinnacle), a nationwide digital and print advertising company, celebrates 20 years in business in 2013. On February 21st, the company celebrated together to reminisce about their past and focus on future growth.
Since 1993, Pinnacle has worked as an extension to independent and cooperative telephone companies providing superior service and offering the industry’s best advertising options to business customers in the printed telephone directory. They have evolved their services throughout the years and they now also provide digital directories, localsolution.com; a local search platform, and most recently website development options for advertising customers.
“What started out 20 years ago with just a few employees and only two directories has steadily grown in to a rock-solid business far exceeding anyone’s expectations,” said Shelly Geerdes, Pinnacle CEO and General Manager. “We attribute our success to our commitment to providing superior service in meeting the needs of our customers by focusing on clear, effective communications.”
Headquartered in Bemidji, Pinnacle was founded by Paul Ledbury, General Manager from 1993-2000, and created as a Division of Northern Communications, a subsidiary of Paul Bunyan Communications, also in Bemidji. In 2001, Pinnacle merged with St. Cloud, Minnesota competitor Independent Information Services Corporation and quickly grew their service territory, employees and customer base. In the years following, Pinnacle experienced significant annual growth causing them to outgrow their existing location which created the need for expansion in the Bemidji Technology Park.
“We are all very proud of this accomplishment and grateful to our customers and employees who helped us get here,” continued Geerdes. “By being in touch with our customer base, we have been able to realize their needs and develop products to help their business grow. That’s one of the major reasons why we have been so successful. We very much look forward to the next 20 years.”
