With the training from this program, individuals will develop the necessary skills to enter today’s competitive job market.
In addition, they offer 5- and 6-week programs leading to Customer Service Certificates and Administrative Certificates. These offer participants the job-specific training and skills necessary to pursue employment in customer service and administrative positions.
Parenting Education Training
This 12-week course uses the curriculum from the Nurturing Parenting Programs, which are family-centered initiatives designed to build nurturing, child-focused parenting skills as an alternative to intergenerational cycles of abuse and neglect. The Nurturing Programs target at-risk families with children from newborns to 18 years old. The programs have been adapted for special populations and demographic groups, including a particular emphasis on teen parenting.
Mentoring
These one-on-one partnerships are designed to help participants develop positive goals and a vision for success in life. They increase individuals’ self-worth, improve their perspective regarding education, and offer positive support and encouragement to become self-sufficient. Mentors can help participants work through personal issues and develop a career plan as a guidepost for the future.
Resource Program
They believe that all citizens should have access to services that promote physical and psychological health.
