ATEN Presents New KVM Control Center, HDMI Extenders, Video Session Recorder System, and PDUs at CeBIT 2013
KVM Functionality in New Dimensions.
New Taipei, Taiwan, March 07, 2013 --(PR.com)-- ATEN International, a leading designer and manufacturer of advanced connectivity solutions, is set to introduce its latest developments at CeBIT show, the world’s largest digital IT and telecommunication trade show, taking place in Hannover (Hall 11, Stand D43) from March 5 to March 9, 2013. At the show, ATEN introduces its newest products: the 4-port USB DVI-D KVMP Control Center, Control Center Video Session Recorder (CCVSR) System, HDMI wired/wireless extenders, and the new intelligent power distribution unit products.
"We are pleased to present at this year’s CeBIT a variety of products from the most diverse areas. One of the highlights is the Control Center Video Session Recorder (CCVSR) system, and the revised version making a worldwide debut at the show. Along with the CM1164 which we developed as a KVM switch that advances in new dimensions. In the field of power management we optimized our PDUs to meet the current demands of centralized and intelligent power management," says Kevin Chen, the President of ATEN International, "Our HDMI extenders also offer A/V experts and home theatre enthusiasts new, and exciting solutions."
Control Center Video Session Recorder (CCVSR)
The new software allows data centers to securely record remote access sessions facilitated through the company’s KVM Over IP Switches. ATEN’s Control Center Video Session Recorder (CCVSR) software automatically records a video of the screen display and logs all key strokes and mouse clicks when servers are accessed through KVM Over IP Switches. Organizations can utilize CCVSR to trouble-trace IT incidents and audit compliance initiatives. ATEN CCVSR is an ideal management tool to accompany KVM Over IP Switch installations without the need to install agent software on target servers.
Intelligent monitoring: 4-port USB DVI-D KVMP Control Center (CM1164)
The CM1164 4-port USB DVI-D KVMP Control Center charts a new direction in KVM switch functionality by combining a 4-port DVI-D switch with a 2-port USB hub, and provides the following display modes: Quad View mode, which simultaneously displays four digital computers/video sources on a single screen; Picture in Picture mode (Dual, Triple or Quad); and Full Screen mode to meet all current consumer demands. With its unique design and innovative features, the CM1164 4-port USB DVI-D KVMP Control Center is the right solution for a wide range of practical applications, including control rooms, monitoring systems, and traffic control centers – allowing you to switch seamlessly between four DVI-enabled PCs, and share USB peripherals and audio from a multi-view console.
KVM Over IP
The KN1108v and KN1116v KVM Over IP Switches with dual IP / dual power functionality, serial console access, and Virtual Media support provide the fastest, most reliable and cost-efficient 8/16 port solutions for remote server management over LANs, WANs and the internet. The KN1108v / KN1116v provide ports for locally attached USB, PS/2, serial and Laptop USB consoles. The KVM Over IP products meet the requirements of modern data centers with Blade Server support, audio transmission, dual IP and dual power supply redundancy for superior protection of LAN connections. A convenient Auto Scan feature permits automatic switching from port to port at user-specified intervals, while the Panel Array Mode can display the video output of multiple servers at the same time. In addition, the KN1108v/KN1116v also supports advanced virtual media functions, such as mapping USB, DVD/CD, hard drive, and other storage media to remote servers.
Green Energy Series
The PE6216 / PE6324 PDUs are intelligent power distribution units that contain 16 or 24 AC outlets and are available in various IEC or NEMA socket configurations. They provide secure, centralized, and intelligent power management (power on, off, cycle) of data centre IT equipment (servers, storage systems, KVM switches, network devices, serial data devices, etc.), as well as the ability to monitor a server room’s environment via sensors. The PE6216 / PE6324 PDUs offer remote power control combined with real time power measurement - allowing you to control and monitor the power status from practically any location via TCP/IP connection. In addition, the PE8216/PE8324 offer the option to monitor the power usage of each individual outlet.
HDMI Extender
The VE814 offers a way to deliver high quality video over a distance of up to 100 meters through a single Cat 5e cable. In addition, video can be streamed using up to three HDMI displays - dual displays connected to the receiving unit and one to the transmitting unit. The VE814 carries an Ethernet pass-through port for internet connectivity. It supports RS-232 and IR signaling pass-through, allowing you to control the HDMI source device from the remote unit (VE814R), while also granting access to the HDMI display device from the local unit. The VE814 is HDMI (3D, Deep Color, 4kx2k) and HDCP compatible, ensuring superior video quality.
