New Seamlessly Shaped Comfort Control Shapewear Collection by Yummie Tummie
Everyday Women’s Shapewear Features Outlast® Technology for Extra-Sensory Comfort
New York, NY, March 06, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Yummie by Heather Thomson, the New York-based shapewear brand, is launching its newest innovation in shapewear technology for Spring 2013. In partnership with Outlast® technology, leader in proactive heat management, the Yummie by Heather Thomson Seamlessly Shaped Comfort Control collection offers revolutionary designs in shaping while providing comfort and flexibility with Outlast® phase change materials to balance body temperature between hot and cold. Crafted with Thomson’s keen sense of fashion meets function, the Comfort Control collection will be available for March 2013.
The Comfort Control shapewear collection, consisting of the “Stephanie” reversible tank, incorporates Outlast® technology by weaving the fibers into its fabric to improve effectiveness and offer women the ultimate foundation piece. As a proactive moisture management solution, Outlast® products continually absorb excess body heat and release it to maintain constant body temperature. Differentiating from passive technologies, such as wicking or quick-drying, Outlast® sets in before the body starts to overheat and sweat.
“We are so excited to be partnering with Outlast® technology to develop a new classification in shapewear,” says Founder and CCO Heather Thomson. “Incorporating Outlast® into our collection is a revolutionary step that we feel will transform the shapewear industry. I offer my customers a new point of view and versatility when it comes to shapewear. When women wear the more traditional shapewear pieces that their grandmother used to wear, they get hot, so I developed a collection that solves this problem. Yummie Tummie’s focus is on comfort, and comfort is what sets Yummie Tummie apart from traditional shapewear. It makes dressing fun again.”
The marriage of Outlast® technology with Yummie Tummie incorporates state-of-the-art innovation and technology for an end-product that’s an everyday shaper working to hug, lift and smooth a woman’s body for increased comfort. “Outlast® technology brings a value-add to Yummie Tummie’s Comfort Control collection by not only offering a heat management benefit to delay the onset of sweat, but also by working to provide women with a feeling of extra-sensory comfort that will leave them with a greater sense of confidence,” said Heather Manuel, Outlast North America sales and marketing director.
Seamlessly Shaped Comfort Control is comprised of 40% Outlast® viscose, along with Tencel® and spandex, and will be distributed domestically and internationally. The Stephanie Tank will be available in black, white, hush, marine, limeade and orchid and will retail for $34.00, or two for $58.00.
