New Parcels Service to the Philippines for UK Companies

London, United Kingdom, August 08, 2007 --(PR.com)-- A low cost parcels service from the UK to the Philippines has been developed for sea or air. One of the innovative products now coming from Philippine Cargo Services based in South London and Heathrow. Taking advantage of the growth in the numbers of Filipinos living and working in the UK, the cost benefits of an infrastructure developed for the personal effects market can now be offered to the commercial market.

Adele Bulaon notes that instead of having minimum volumes for sea or air freight imposed, commercial customers can send small single boxes by sea, or air cargo weights as low as 10 kgs without incurring the normal minimum volume/weight penalties usually experienced. Where it has been the case that using sea cargo meant a minimum charge of 1 cubic metre was made meant a small box would have been disproportionately expensive, now there is no minimum.

Collections can be made throughout the UK mainland, or customers can have their goods delivered to Philippine Cargo's depots. Delivery to the door throughout virtually the entire archipelago ensures goods are under the control of one "pair of hands".
