OrientSKYs and Beijing Airlines Form Strategic Partnership
Bangkok, Thailand, March 12, 2013 --(PR.com)-- OrientSKYs, a fast-growing private jet charter network with head offices located in Bangkok, Thailand, announces that it has entered into a strategic business alliance with Beijing Airlines (formerly Air China Business Jet).
“Not only will this agreement give OrientSKYs’ international customers operator direct pricing from the only Wyvern safety audited business jet operation in China, but Beijing Airlines’ customers will immediately be able to benefit from OrientSKYs’ global network for their jet charter needs in the U.S., Europe and the Middle East…this is a win-win for both OrientSKYs and Beijing Airlines,” said Trevor Merszei, Chief Operating Officer for OrientSKYs.
Under this agreement, OrientSKYs will act as an agent for Beijing Airlines: secure charter contracts from its customer base outside of China and provide priority to Beijing Airlines fleet for any charters within The People’s Republic of China. OrientSKYs will also provide sales, marketing and business development services within South-East Asia, Europe and the United States.
“I have worked with Air China Business Jet (Beijing Airlines) for quite a few years now and have the utmost confidence in their safety, dispatch reliability and overall customer deliverable…that is why I am so excited to announce this partnership,” commented Merszei.
As a subsidiary of Air China Ltd., the sole flag carrier of China, Beijing Airlines was established in November, 2003, and engages in: aircraft management, private jet charter and ground handling services. With a fleet of ten business aircraft under management, Beijing airlines operates a Challenger 605, a Gulfstream G450, a Bombardier Global express XRS and a 28 seat Boeing Business Jet for charter; with more aircraft expected to come online shortly.
“This is a milestone for long-term cooperative relationship, which contributes to brand promotion of both parties in China and overseas market,” said Wendy Li, marketing supervisor for Beijing Airlines.
OrientSKYs provides a full-service private aircraft network as well as an Asian jet sales and acquisitions brokerage for its customers. Founded in 2004 as XJET Limited, the company was rebranded OrientSKYs in 2007 to better reflect its focus on Asian client expectations. Based in Bangkok, with client services offices located throughout the region, as well as the United States, OrientSKYs retains a very experienced team of jet charter professionals, and provides its customers with concierge-level attention to detail on a 24-hour basis.
