Leah Koenig, MA, Parent Coach, to present Love and Logic’s® Early Childhood Parenting Made Fun! class, at Sammamish Montessori School in Redmond WA starting Tuesday April 2, 2013 from 6pm to 8pm.
Redmond, WA, March 14, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Leah Koenig, MA, Child & Family therapist and Parent Coach at Collaborative Couples and Family Counseling, LLC in Bellevue WA is presenting a three Tuesday Love and Logic® class called "Early Childhood Parenting Made Fun!®" The class is designed for ages birth to six, however it includes effective strategies all the way through the tween years.
The class is offered at Sammamish Montessori School in Redmond WA starting Tuesday April 2, 2013. Classes will be every other Tuesday from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and cost $85 for an individual and $145 for a couple. Dates are April 2, 16 and 30.
Often parents find that lecturing, arguing or threatening their kids does not work and in fact, only make dynamics at home worse. Love and Logic® is a parenting approach, started in 1977, that helps parents learn to set limits with their children in loving ways and thus creates happy families and responsible kids. Ms. Koenig will cover:
-Handling misbehavior without breaking a sweat
-Teaching kids to listen the first time
-Avoiding power struggles
-Limits for happier parents and happier kids
-What to do when your kids leave you speechless
