RE/MAX Metro Chicago Real Estate Network’s Hot Air Balloon Visits St. Nicholas of Tolentine School in Chicago on March 25
Chicago, IL, March 16, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The RE/MAX Hot Air Balloon will pay a March 25 visit to St. Nicholas of Tolentine School, 3741 W. 62nd St., in Chicago’s West Lawn community, where the balloon crew will present an interactive educational program developed and sponsored by the RE/MAX metro Chicago real estate network.
The 300 students at St. Nicholas, who range from kindergarteners to 8th graders, will learn about various aspects of ballooning, including its history and the scientific principles involved, and they will see a demonstration on how the balloon functions.
The program will be presented twice starting at 8:30 a.m. in the school gymnasium, giving all students a chance to participate. The 75-foot-tall balloon envelope will be inflated with cold air, permitting students to walk inside it. The presentation then will conclude outdoors with a demonstration of how the balloon basket and burners operate.
