BIGshop Launches Australia's First Universal Shopping Cart Making Online Shopping Easier
In a bold move, BIGshop.com.au has released new universal shopping cart software that is set to rival online comparison shopping engines and online marketplaces in Australia.
Brisbane, Australia, August 08, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Online shopping in Australia just got easier with www.bigshop.com.au recently launching its much anticipated universal online shopping cart. The service allows shoppers to search, compare and shop for products, such as discount perfume or homewares, from multiple leading online merchants on one site, with one universal shopping cart and one account.
Merchants are charged on a Cost-Per-Order basis rather than the more traditional Cost-Per-Click model. BIGshop.com.au processes the customer’s orders and the necessary information is then sent to the Merchants for order fulfillment. Through the BIGshop Inventory Integration Wizard Merchants are able to upload and maintain inventory on BIGshop through url, database or FTP feeds. Feed files are read multiple times every day to ensure that a Merchants content is kept up to date.
BIGshop also provides all its merchants the opportunity to setup their own Bshop for free. BIGshop’s Bshop service allows any Merchant to establish a fully branded, easy to setup and maintain Internet shop. Each BShop is created within the BIGshop site and only contains merchant specific information, products and branding.
