CPEhr Announces Health Insurance Renewal Rates Significantly Below California Trends for Second Straight Year
For the second year in a row, Professional Employer Organization CPEhr announces renewal rates on its primary large group plan significantly lower than average health care premium increases experienced statewide.
Los Angeles, CA, March 19, 2013 --(PR.com)-- CPEhr, a Professional Employer Organization, announced that the 2013 base renewal rates on its primary medical health insurance plans offered to clients were 67% below health care trend for the second straight year.
While insurance rates across California have risen between ten and twelve percent this year, CPEhr’s primary HMO coverage with Anthem Blue Cross remained essentially unchanged for the second year in row. By taking a proactive approach to managing benefit plans, CPEhr and their executive broker relationships were able to achieve a 2013 renewal very close to 2011 levels.
“We are extremely satisfied with the renewal rates for our primary coverage,” states Dana Osayande, CPEhr’s Director of Benefits. “We are diligent when it comes to managing our employee benefit plans, promoting wellness initiatives, educating the employees and advising clients regarding strategic choices. As a result we were able to obtain the best renewal rates possible for all of our covered clients and their employees. The fact that Anthem Blue Cross recognizes this gives us confidence that we are doing the right thing on behalf of our clients.”
CPEhr provides a wide range of employee benefit plans that offer small and mid-sized employers access to large group rates and options. In addition to the Anthem Blue Cross HMO plans, they offer three PPO options, a High Deductible (HDHP) plan, Kaiser Permanente, Dental, Vision, Life and a range of other insurance options.
Other highlights of CPEhr’s 2013 renewal include:
> A new low-cost Accountable Care Organization (ACO) plan with Anthem
> Added a new Anthem Priority Select Network with Low, Medium, High benefit plan options
> Upgraded DMO dental plan through Metlife with NO increase in rates
“In today’s confusing world of health care reform, it is almost impossible for small employers to stay on top of all the changes, not to mention find affordable health coverage for their staff,” says Osayande. “We hope that more businesses will investigate CPEhr’s Professional Employer Organization services and all the amazing benefits that we have to offer.”
