Menard, TX, March 19, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Outskirts Press, Inc. has published Apache Rain by James T. Graham. The author's most recent book to date is a 6 x 9 paperback in the western fiction category and is available worldwide on book retailer websites such as Amazon and Barnes & Noble. Apache Rain is also available in a 6 x 9 hardback edition with jacket. The webpage at www.outskirtspress.com/apacherain was launched simultaneously with the book's publication.

This is the epic tale of the lives of a man and a woman woven together by happenstance and by historical movements that continue to shape the great southwest today. From the settlement of Texas by folks like Sam Houston to the battlegrounds of the Mexican-American War, readers will feel the bonds that hold Texans to their roots.

Based on an historical setting that brings vividness to the old “Manifest Destiny” doctrine, Mr. Graham has borrowed from his own family history to weave a tale that will tug at the heartstrings and swell the pride of every American who still believes in the power of the individual. The story of Jim Callan and Rain – “against all odds” – is the story of every Texan, every American who aspires to build a personal “empire” of freedom and personal direction founded on principles of sacrifice, virtue, hard work and risk.

523 pages in length, Apache Rain is being aggressively promoted to appropriate markets with a focus on the western fiction category. With U.S. wholesale distribution through Ingram and Baker & Taylor, and pervasive online availability through Amazon, Barnes & Noble and elsewhere, Apache Rain meets consumer demand through both retail and library markets with a suggested retail price of $18.95 and $27.95 for the paperback and hardback editions, respectively.

Additionally, Apache Rain can be ordered by retailers or wholesalers for the maximum trade discount price set by the author in quantities of ten or more from the Outskirts Press Direct bookstore at www.outskirtspress.com/bookstore.
