iAPPS Releases sParks* Mobile App in Collaboration with National Parks Board, Singapore

Singapore, Singapore, March 22, 2013 --(PR.com)-- iAPPS Pte Ltd (iAPPS) officially launches sParks*, a mobile application in collaboration with National Parks Board (NParks) that let the public access information on Parks and the Park Connector Network (PCN), as well as park lifestyle services such as the nearby mix of merchants offering promotional products and services, in time for 50 Years of Greening Singapore this year.

sParks had its soft launch on 2 February 2013 at NParks' Commemorating 50 Years of Greening Singapore: Community in Action for Kheam Hock at Singapore Chinese Girls' School. On 18 March 2013, sParks was presented to the public in an event together with NParks' Celebrating 50 Years of Greening Singapore with "Playsets of Yesteryears" and "irememberParks" at Raffles Place Park.

iAPPS is the app developer for sParks* with content provided by NParks. To create awareness of the new app, iAPPS is running a campaign "The Food Challenge" from 18 March to 17 April 2013. Registered sParks* users snap, submit and share "Must Tries" of foods/beverages from eateries in and nearby parks, and get friends to "Like" them on sParks* app. The most "Likes" on any "Must Tries" entry let a lucky user win an iPad Mini 16 GB worth S$448.

iAPPS also developed "iMerchant," a proprietary merchant mobile-commerce campaign management system, for island-wide businesses including merchants near parks. Upon subscription to iMerchant, merchants run self-directed advertising and promotions campaigns riding on m-commerce. Park visitors can discover promotions by these merchants on sParks* and benefit directly with savings, and businesses gain from generating customer relationship management (CRM) databases.
