Members Choice Credit Union is Honing Top Executives' Leadership Skills with Rise Performance Group Program
Fast-growing Members Choice Credit Union of Houston has embraced the Rise Performance Group Leadership Program, making sure its C-level management has the proper strategic focus.
Dallas, TX, March 22, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Members Choice Credit Union of Houston is now using the Leadership System training program from Rise Performance Group to ensure that its top executives are strategically focused as the credit union continues its rapid growth.
Rise Performance Group is delivering the Leadership System training throughout 2013 to the C-level management of Members Choice CU, one of the top credit unions in the Houston area. The Leadership System is a multi-module program aimed at developing and maintaining sound leadership fundamentals that when consistently reinforced drive incremental improvements in performance by nurturing a culture of high performers.
Members Choice CU, in operation in Houston since 1941, has grown rapidly in the last several years, opening additional branches, tripling its number of employees, and building its total assets. The credit union now has about 140 employees across its nine branches, with $450 million in assets. It serves west Houston, Katy, and Cy-Fair, as well as some 200 employee groups.
"With the kind of robust growth we have had, it has created some unique challenges for us. We realized we needed a concerted effort in training and development," said Steve Gilman, CEO of Members Choice Credit Union. Members Choice CU just began the Leadership System program from Rise Performance Group, and Gilman says the change in focus is evident.
