Feldman Shepherd Moves to New Office Featuring Sustainable Materials and Rittenhouse Square Views
Philadelphia Personal Injury Law Firm Bucks Consolidation Trend and Moves to Completely Renovated Office Space to Accommodate Growth.
Philadelphia, PA, March 22, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Philadelphia personal injury law firm, Feldman Shepherd Wohlgelernter Tanner Weinstock & Dodig LLP has moved from the 25th floor to the 21st floor of 1845 Walnut Street on Rittenhouse Square, taking advantage of the opportunity to completely gut and reconstruct the space to the firm’s exact specifications for maximum efficiency, productivity, collaboration and client service. Feldman Shepherd worked with the Philadelphia office of architecture, interior design and planning firm Francis Cauffman to incorporate numerous sustainable elements, locally created custom furniture and technologically advanced audio/visual equipment into a design that maximizes natural light and offers expansive views of historic Rittenhouse Square. Unlike many Pennsylvania law firms that have recently remodeled office space with an eye toward consolidation, Feldman Shepherd has nearly doubled its space from 9,000 to 17,779 square feet, increased its collaborative spaces and located typically inboard functions along the office’s perimeter.
“Our law firm has grown steadily over the past 25 years and will continue to do so,” said Feldman Shepherd Co-Managing Partner Alan M. Feldman. “With that in mind, this move allowed us to emphasize collaborative spaces, including an enhanced employee lounge and new conference center, both featuring views of Rittenhouse Square, and to group our teams together for improved efficiency and workflow. We are also proud of the space’s sustainable features, including reclaimed wood, recycled porcelain tile, floor-to-ceiling glass wall partitions and energy-efficient HVAC and lighting systems.”
“Feldman Shepherd’s new office now reflects their culture and supports their highly specialized, client-focused practice, which emphasizes comfort, technology and service,” said Francis Cauffman Principal Anthony Colciaghi. “We leveraged our best practices in law firm design, whereby individual space is adjusted and collaborative spaces are increased, and although historically cellular in nature, we designed the new space to celebrate views overlooking Rittenhouse Square by maximizing glass and showcasing vistas throughout the office.”
The ample glass fronting also permits daylight to permeate the space, reducing the need for artificial light during the day.
Feldman Shepherd’s partners worked closely with Francis Cauffman Design Principal Keumpyo Kim Hong and Associate Angela Marchionne, as well as Lakash Constructors, Inc. Vice President Neil Dolinsky, whose firm oversaw the construction aspect of the project, in bringing the new space to fruition.
“The new office is an opportunity to express the unique culture of Feldman Shepherd – a family-like business that is agile, entrepreneurial and committed to sustainable practice,” said Hong.
