The WLM to Skype migration started in Q4 2012 and will conclude in the coming months in other countries around the world. With the migration to Skype, users have the ability to merge their WLM and Skype accounts or keep the accounts separate by creating a new Skype login for their WLM contacts.
Whether users are communicating through their old Windows Live Messenger accounts or new Skype IDs, Presensoft will preserve all IM conversations and store them securely in the cloud. “Presensoft IM Policy Manager Administrators have no new action items to address. Their current installation will immediately operate after the change, without any action required.
