Fort Myers Attorney Shannon Puopolo Elected to Voices for Kids Board

Fort Myers, FL, March 24, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The law firm of Henderson, Franklin, Starnes & Holt, P.A. is pleased to announce that Attorney Shannon Puopolo has been named to the Voices for Kids of Southwest Florida’s Board of Directors (“VFK”). VFK supports the Guardian ad Litem Program for Lee, Collier, Charlotte, Hendry and Glades counties. Guardian ad Litem volunteers are the eyes, ears and voices for children who are abused, neglected and abandoned. Through grants, individual donations, sponsorships and events, VFK has raised over $1.8 million since 2002 to address unfunded and unmet needs of Southwest Florida’s most vulnerable children.

Puopolo concentrates her commercial litigation practice handling creditors’ rights in bankruptcy and representing lenders in foreclosure proceedings. She also represents resident and commercial landlords in eviction and ejectment proceedings. Puopolo also handles lien collection matters for creditors, including writs of garnishment and levies. In 2012, she was recognized by Florida Super Lawyers® magazine as a "Rising Star" in the field of business litigation.

Puopolo serves as Vice President of the Lee County Bar Association’s Young Lawyer’s Division and is a member of the Calusa Inns of Court, Lee County Bar Association and American Bankruptcy Institute.
