Delaware County Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas Goes Live with AMCAD’s Integrated Case Management System (AiCMS)

AMCAD announced today that the Delaware County Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas Civil, Family, and Protection from Abuse Divisions, went into production with the AMCAD integrated Case Management System (AiCMS) and the AMCAD integrated Capture System (AiCS).

Herndon, VA, March 27, 2013 --(PR.com)-- AMCAD announced today that the Delaware County Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas Civil, Family, and Protection from Abuse Divisions, went into production with the AMCAD integrated Case Management System (AiCMS) and the AMCAD integrated Capture System (AiCS). The court features 120 users and has an annual case load of 16,000 cases. Delaware County is the fifth most populous county in the State of Pennsylvania.

The implementation of AiCMS created the first integrated case management system for the Common Pleas Court which include content management aspects and a required information exchange. AMCAD and Delaware County also developed interfaces for AOPC Civil Judgments (Probation) and Municipal Liens. These interfaces significantly reduce data entry for the Court and justice partners.

Court Administrator, Jerry Montella stated: “Through a collaborative effort with AMCAD’s staff, the Delaware County rollout was a complete success. As with the implementation of any new system, staff becomes anxious and nervous, however, AMCAD’s thoughtful analysis and detailed implementation plan reduced those fears to a minimum prior to and through “Go Live.” Additionally Montella stated: “Communication is always a key between vendor and customer in planning and implementing a new system and it was certainly evident in our project. AMCAD consistently delivered in making us feel comfortable that our issues were being addressed in a timely fashion and were always willing and available to answer our questions over the course of many months. AMCAD’s team of qualified trainers were present during “Go Live” delivering the resources necessary to allow staff to transition from the old system to new system easily without disruption to service. It was a complete team effort which will allow staff to use many more technical tools in a more efficient manner while continuing to provide quality service to litigants, attorneys and the public.”

AMCAD’s AiCMS system automatically charts all court proceedings and eliminates paper files, providing streamlined court business processes. The implementation of this paper-on-demand solution will be an evolution switch in the operation of the day-to-day activity of the court and provides tremendous benefit to the court operation. AMCAD also provided AMCAD’s Rapid Online Access Method (ROAM™) which facilitates web-based public access to court records and judgments. This unique integration, provided only by AMCAD, will save the court thousands of manual work hours per year by providing access to the information via the internet.
