About Andrew M. Zang
Dr. Zang has over 5 years experience as a physical therapist. As a Staff Physical Therapist with Cardin and Miller Physical Therapy, he specializes in orthopedic and sports injuries and the treatment of vestibular dysfunction. His primary area of interest is in treating patients with low back and neck issues which represent 2 of the most common reasons for doctor visits. He has furthered his clinical manual therapy expertise with Evidence in Motion, LLC, a PT directed organization for the advancement of clinical and professional skills. Dr. Zang is affiliated with the American Physical Therapy Association, Orthopedic Section, the Pennsylvania Physical Therapy Association and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy. While at the University of Pittsburgh, Andrew was 4-year scholarship member of the track and field and cross-country teams. He was named to the Big East Conference Academic All-Star team along with receiving a Senior Distinction Award for his achievement in both academics and athletics. Dr. Zang received his B.S. in Rehabilitative Sciences in 2005 and his D.P.T. in 2008, both from the University of Pittsburgh. He completed a clinical rotation at the renowned UPMC Center for Sports Medicine. Dr. Zang was born on July 13, 1982 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. In his spare time, he enjoys running, weightlifting, reading, and now taking care of his new baby girl.
