BDG Developing Simulations Using HTML5 for Apple Compatibility

The use of Flash for simulation development means users with Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, iPod, etc.) cannot access or use the simulations. HTML5 development allows the Apple users full access and compatibility.

San Antonio, TX, March 29, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Roger Grant, President of the Business Development Group, announced a new initiative using HTML5 to develop hardware and software simulations. The primary reason for the addition of HTML5 to the other development platforms (such as Flash) is to include Apple devices along with Windows and Android. "Until Adobe and Apple come to an agreement," said Grant, "We must adapt to include the largest possible audience for BDG."

Although the Adobe Flash player is used by virtually every browser and operating system, Apple has refused to include it in their products. As a result, web sites, training, etc. developed with Flash cannot be viewed on Apple products. Although there are mobile apps in development to allow the Flash content to play, at this time, the only viable solution is to develop using HTML5, CSS and JavaScript*.

BDG continues to use technologies that make our work available to the greatest number of users. BDG is a woman-owned company based in San Antonio, TX.
