BTO Sports Announces Results from Monster Energy Supercross Toronto

Toronto, Canada, March 29, 2013 --(PR.com)-- BTO Sports, a leader in the latest motocross gear, parts and accessories, has announced the results of the BTO Sports - KTM team at round 12 of the Monster Energy Supercross series at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, ON Saturday night. Team riders Andrew Short and Matt Goerke rode strong on the challenging and changing Toronto track.

Event Recap:

Andrew Short would take to the Toronto track in qualifying to lay down the 12th fastest time. In his heat, Shorty would get a good start up front, dicing it up with Ryan Dungey and Justin Brayton to finish 4th. In the main, using all the traction from his Pirelli Scorpion MX tires, Short would get out of the gate strong, running inside the top ten for most of the race, finishing the night in 9th. Every week, Short is getting more comfortable and maintains 8th in the points going in to the break.

Matt Goerke put down another solid qualifying session as he would start the night with the 9th fastest time. In his heat, Matt would get a good jump out of the gate and race to a 7th place. In the main, he would suffer from a bad start, working his way from deep in the field to inside the top ten. Matt kept digging to pass Justin Brayton late in the race to finish in the 10th spot. Matt is still 11th in points going in to the break.

“We had a good night,” said team manager Forrest Butler “We have a few things to work on, but overall we are improving each week. We will come back strong after the break.”
