Iradion Laser Source for Trotec Laser Machines
Trotec recently introduced a new laser source from Iradion for their laser machines.
Ypsilanti, MI, April 04, 2013 --(PR.com)-- 100% Ceramic
Trotec laser systems are equipped with a new line of CO2 laser sources from the US-based manufacturer Iradion Laser, Inc. The unique, innovational and patented laser source system stands for longevity, high quality and dependability. The concept of this new technology is that it is made 100% out of ceramic.
Perfect body
Normally the laser sources used for laser processing are made out of glass or are all-metal. With the CeramiCore technology the laser source system is completely redefined. The ceramic design gives superior benefits compared to all metal or glass lasers. There is no aluminum welds or sealing, which leak over time. The resonator is heated to 800 degrees, therefore the burning process cleans the interior surface effectively.
Pure gas composition
All of the optical elements are glued onto the ceramic, the electrodes are mounted on the outside of the resonator and the gas is excited through the ceramic body. Therefore the gas mixture’s equilibrium is safe because there are no interior metal surfaces. A pure gas composition and therefore longest lifetime is guaranteed.
Ceramic lasers can be operated at much greater pressures resulting in faster pulse speeds, which are critical for high speed engraving and marking applications. Laser users can benefit from highest engraving quality at speeds up to 140 inches/second.
Due to the innovative architecture the laser needs less energy. Compared to others it has a reduction of up to 30%.
Seamless integration
The laser sources have been perfectly optimized for Trotec laser systems to maxime the CeramiCore® technology's benefits.
