Singing Sands Inn Launches First Ever Facebook Photo Competition
Singing Sands Inn, a premier eco-resort in Maya Beach, just north of Placencia, Belize, has launched its first ever Facebook photo competition. The prize at stake is a 5-night stay for 2 in a luxurious beachfront cabana. The resort is sponsoring the giveaway to reward its fanbase for their continuous loyalty since its inception.

To enter, contestants are required to submit a photo entry using the "Win!" tab on the Singing Sands Facebook Page. The photo may be uploaded or submitted from their Facebook photo albums. The entry may contain a short caption that states why their photo should win. After submission, participants are encouraged to share their photo on Facebook with as many of their friends as possible in order to accumulate votes that are cast by using the button next to each entry on the contest page.
The contest ends on May 2, 2013, after which the entry that has been voted for the most wins. The contest is a first for the small Belizean resort, which hopes to do its part to increase Belize’s popularity as a tourist destination and reward its fans on Facebook by offering giveaways.
