Ashton Woods Homes Raleigh Names Joel Geniesse as Vice President of Operations

In this position, Geniesse will be responsible for the division’s operational goals, with a primary focus on outlining effective policies and managing purchasing, design and engineering processes associated with the company’s Raleigh division.
Prior to accepting his new position, Geniesse worked with Ashton Woods Homes in Atlanta for 13 years, where he served in a variety of roles. Beginning his career as an assistant builder, Geniesse was promoted to builder, project manager and purchasing director over the span of 13 years. As project manager, Geniesse assisted in the development of Ashton Woods Homes’ Powerhouse Green initiative and built the prototype for the program. Additionally, as project manager, he placed a significant attention on increasing customer satisfaction while lowering direct costs by decreasing construction extras and reducing cycle time. As the company’s purchasing director, Geniesse was responsible for executing a unit price initiative that focused on removing waste and managing cost reductions.
