Powder Blue Photography, a successful family, child, newborn, and baby portrait photographer from Portland, OR has relocated to Mt. Lebanon, PA to create beautiful custom, artistic, and fresh portraits. Powder Blue Photography is run by expert photographer and mom of two, Missy Timko.
Mt. Lebanon, PA, April 09, 2013 --(PR.com)-- For photographer Missy Timko of Powder Blue Photography, it’s all about capturing adults and children as their natural, beautiful selves. Missy has brought her portrait studio to the Pittsburgh South Hills from Portland, Oregon, where she did maternity, newborn, child, and family portraits in studio and on location.
“It is important to me to connect with moms and make people feel comfortable in front of my camera,” Missy says, “As a mom of two, I understand that it’s hard to get everyone looking their best, cleaned up, and well-rested all at the same time for a portrait. It’s challenging to be a mom, especially a new mom, and have the pressure to get everyone together; sometimes people skip portraits, which they always regret! There is no need to be anxious. Portraiture can be a fun, family bonding experience and you certainly will be glad you did it. I recommend every family have an annual portrait in the summer or fall as well as pictures to commemorate little ones’ birthdays or the birth of a new baby. I tend to form long-term relationships with clients, and that is my goal!”
Sometimes people fear that their portraits will turn out to be stiff, inaccurate representations of themselves. Missy encourages her clients to have fun and to relax during her shoots so that true personalities and interactions shine through in family portraits.
