Long® Fence Sponsors Maryland SPCA’s 2013 March for the Animals
Baltimore, MD, April 09, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Long® Fence is honored to help support the Maryland SPCA by sponsoring the organization’s annual March for the Animals fundraiser. The 2013 March for the Animals walk-a-thon and activities will be held Sunday, April 21, 2013 at Druid Hill Park, 3001 East Drive, Baltimore, MD.
The March for the Animals is the Maryland SPCA’s largest yearly fundraising event. This year’s 1.5 mile walk will take place at Baltimore’s beautiful Druid Hill Park. In addition to the walk there will be several other activities, including pet costume contests, dog training demonstrations, agility courses, and musical chairs. Pet owners who attend the event will also have the opportunity to microchip their pets and get photos and ID tags.
All money raised from the March for the Animals event will be used to keep adoption centers running and to care for lost or homeless pets. Donations will also be used in the community to help better educate pet owners on how to properly care for their dogs, cats, or other animals.
